TCS pilots unique scheme at Rajarhat to
increase the base of skilled workers in the construction industry

This unique programme to upgrade skills will be carried out during
the construction phase while building new TCS campuses in Kolkata,
Indore and Nagpur. A pilot programme for this unique skills development
initiative has already commenced at Rajarhat, where TCS is constructing
a software development campus spread over 40 acres. Over the course
of the construction period, as many as 2,000 workers will be trained
at the purpose-built on-site Construction Skill Training Centre
(CTSC).

Wipro, UN Women Partner to Strengthen

in the organization and has joined six other leading Indian firms
as a signatory to the Women's Empowerment Principles (WEPs). CARE
India, Global Compact Network and UN Women are leading the charge
in India to encourage private sector companies to become signatories
to these principles. The consortium will conduct research to identify
gaps within current corporate policies that limit women's participation
and involvement in the workplace.
