Brief About Sukma District
Sukma is the newly formed, southern most district in Chhattisgarh in the bastar region. It is bordered by andhra pradesh and orissa.

Though a backward area,it has proved its excellence through its education and literacy rates. This is one of the most forested districts in the entire country (almost 4000 plus km2). Sukma is also renowned for its fresh water prawns (Jhinga) plenty of which are found in the Sabri river, and also for its minor forest produce like Tendupatta, Chironji, Imli, Mahua, Harra, and Gums.
