Chambre de Commerce de Djibouti
Founded in 1907 on the initiative of a group of local businesses, the Chamber of Commerce of Djibouti has since evolved to become in its Constitution in 2002, thanks to the recent reforms, the representative institution of the private sector in nationally. Thus, all economic sectors are represented in the deliberative body, the General Assembly has forty four (44) members elected.

The Chamber of Commerce is headed by a President who is the executive body, which represents the institution legally and officially in all administrative acts. He is assisted in this task by a Board composed of eight (8) members elected by the General Assembly.
All elected members exert volunteers and receive no remuneration or compensation.

Services and Institutions managed by the CCD benefit from the experience of men and business women volunteers, motivated by concern for the common good, experienced in business management and control of development activities business.

The administration and the Chamber of Services are under the authority of the Secretary General, who is responsible for a share of direct services and monitor the proper implementation of the budget and also to advise elected bodies of the House.

In its missions, except express and defend the point of view of economic operators, the Chamber of Commerce is responsible for issuing opinions and proposals to increase economic prosperity, promote the development of the Republic of Djibouti, the fight against poverty and help to human progress.

Moreover, it is a facilitating organization of trade and helps raise awareness of the national market, by making a part in studies and data collection and other hand, awareness campaigns on the various opportunities available to traders.

To meet its prerogatives, the Chamber of Commerce has three operational departments providing corporate hospitality and each providing specific services that meet the needs of economic operators.

These services take different forms, consulting, technical assistance, training ... and are offered by the Departments of the CCD.
