Saint Vincent And The Grenadines

St Vincent and the Grenadines Chamber of Industry and Commerce

The St Vincent and the Grenadines Chamber of Industry and Commerce is a non-profit, non-governmental, membership based organisation. Established in 1926, the SVGCIC is the oldest and largest private sector organisation, representing the interest of approximately 120 businesses across SVG.
Our key purpose is to enable private sector growth and development, facilitate trade and encourage investment. As a member of the SVGCIC, businesses are aligned with more than 100 other businesses and individuals in an organization that is working to build the long-term economic strength of its members and the business community. The SVGCIC, as the main voice of the business community, maintains close links with Government and increasingly contribute to the development process of the country.
Our combined resources, as well as our links and affiliations at the regional and international level with inter-governmental and private organizations is aimed at widening our scope of activities and better promoting businesses in St.Vincent and the Grenadines. There are two primary functions of the SVGCIC: first, we act as the spokesperson for the local business and professional community; and secondly, as the point of contact for business support, development and trade facilitation services. Essentially, we are working to improve the quality of life of the people of St. Vincent and the Grenadines, by adopting a leadership role and being the advocate of the private sector, the lifeline of any developing society.
