San Marino Chamber of Commerce

HISTORY AND ACTIVITIES

Founded in November of 1959 the mission of the San Marino Chamber of Commerce is to promote the economic well-being of the community, to be an advocate for its members and to provide community leadership.

The Chamber is governed by an eleven to fifteen member Board of Directors, each serving a two-year term. Executive Officers are chosen from the Board each year, and serve a two-year term.

Working in partnership with the City, the Chamber plays an active roll in supporting the local businesses and in recruiting new businesses to San Marino. Having been an active participant in developing the City's Commercial Plan, the Chamber is well equipped to assist prospective businesses in finding a suitable location and obtaining the necessary permits and business licenses. The Chamber is proud of the working relationship and what we have accomplished in conjunction with the real estate and commercial property brokers with listings in the City.
