The British Chamber of Commerce Uruguay

The British Chamber of Commerce Uruguay has developed an important management actively contributing to the exchange of trade and investment between the United Kingdom and Uruguay. The purpose of it is to promote trade between the two countries, spreading business opportunities, promoting productive investment and defending the rights of its commercial partners. To contact this offers advice on foreign trade, banking, legal and accounting services, among others. It also provides logistical support as well as training programs and seminars.

The Chamber of Commerce Uruguay-USA is a private, independent, nonprofit organization founded in December 1934 by a group of Uruguayan and entrepreneurs.

Currently about 100 leading companies are affiliated to the Chamber, of which over 40% represent American companies.
The membership of the House is composed of various items: import, export, technology, consulting, tourism, financial institutions ,
legal, utilities and industries.

The House finances its activities through membership fees and income from the provision of services.

The Chamber is governed by the decisions of a Board of Directors that is renewed every year and is composed of entrepreneurs representing both American and Uruguayan firms.

Compilation and provision of data Anaisis related to economic, development and trends in Uruguay and African countries.

Assistance and advice on issues arising between parties, organizations and institutions involved in trade relations between Uruguay and African countries.
